Mini Stretcher Bars
Size
Mini Stretcher Bars are used to mount your needlepoint canvas while stitching, keeping the canvas taut and stable as you work. Each bar features interlocking corners that slide together to form a square or rectangular frame sized to your canvas.
The bars are sold in pairs, and you will need two packs (four bars total) to assemble a complete frame.
When selecting your size, choose bars that are slightly smaller than your canvas measurement. For example, if your canvas measures 9.5", select the 9" bars. This allows enough extra canvas to secure it properly.
To attach your canvas, you will also need Clover Brass Tacks, which are used to fasten the canvas to the stretcher bars.
